Alas I don’t think I’m going to make it to many classes (or down to the gym at all) for a little while. Lulu is proving to be a demanding little girl!
I miss you all, hopefully I’ll be back on track once things are more settled in a month or so!
Do some extra cleans for me.

Can’t make Thursday nights so did the mainsite wod this afternoon
3 rounds for time:50 Double Unders50 hip extensions50 situps
15:45
For the first time, I was hitting consecutive double unders like nobody’s business! The crazy thing is that it didn’t even feel that much harder once I got the rhythm of it.Subbed good mornings for the hip extensions to avoid trekking across the gym to a different station, which I regret cause I think they were too easy. Situps slowed me down more than anything.
The run was more annoying than difficult, trying to grip the kettlebell and move at anything faster than a quick walk was near impossible.

workout: yoga class, HSPU work, some painful time sitting on a tennis ball under my glutes and hip flexor.
tomorrow’s main site looks fun, in the sense that i can’t imagine 40 pullups being more of a relief than after 50 ring dips.
also, somebody posted a tabata fgb workout to friday’s comments, also looks like fun.

27 or 28 min sandbag
A little trouble with the timing due to the fact that I was about to give up on the burpees. Thanks to sameer, hillary and patrick for the encouragement. I needed the support.

27:00 even. With a kettlebell (not sure of the weight) & modified burpees.
Jeremy’s right, that run was awkward. Kept slowing down as I switched the kettlebell from hand to hand since it was hard to break into even a light jog with it.
And I switched up the order by mistake and did my burpees right after the run and then the box jumps last– which I kinda wish I hadn’t done. Going straight from the row to the run to the burpees isn’t a sequence I’d wanna repeat anytime soon…
My burpees were the *super* modified kind, so serious kudos to sameer, juliana, & patrick for pushing through with the real stuff all the way!
Those foam rollers are amazing– I pulled something weird in my booty towards the end of the box jumps and it only took a few rolls with it to work its healing magic.
