Run either 750m on a steep trail or 1.5 K on a road or track
5 rounds for time of:
275 pound Deadlifts, 5 reps (185 pounds for women)
10 Burpees (with clap overhead while airborne)

21-15-965# thrustersthin band pullups (chin over bar)14min.considering the last time I did this my time was 7:37… something was off. Granted I did jumping pullups before, but still. The thrusters were really hard for some reason – I’m blaming it on yesterday’s sprints.

Deadlift/Burpee 3:16Currently in 9th place, although my best event is over already.The heat is a factor here, not so much during the WOD because they are short, but afterwards I didn’t feel so well. Rehydration and a 30min nap fixed things. I’m running at 3:20 (6:20 for yall), I’ll update afterwards.

Now I’ve just got to shave 10 minutes off my deadlift/burpees and I’ve got you beat. Just 10 minutes. Shave a little time off my lifts, speed up the burpees, break the time/space continuum and BAM, like that, there’s a new sheriff in town.
Seriously though, 3:16 is amazing. We were talking about you breaking 4 minutes today, and you killed it. Best of luck on the other WOD’s.

Yeah Jeremy, some of those guys ahead of you are only there because they haven’t run yet, which will add a minute or two to their totals. Hit Fran hard and you’ll be right there again. We were talking about you all day man, we’re really proud of you. Keep fighting!

Good news. The time I was given on the hill was wrong. I actually ran 4:35. Just double checked with the scorers, aparantly there was a problem with one of the two stopwatches on the hill

5:05 for strict Fran, or Mistress Fran as I’ve dubbed her. That was way harder han normal. I’m not sure if it was the chest to bar or doing it last, but damn.

Oops, the Fran time was 5:25, I looked at the wrong box on my scorecard. Forgive me, my head wasn’t working all that well at the time.
In happier news, I had dinner with some of the crew from Black Box and Melbourne. We had some guests, Mike Buergener and Mark FUCKING Rippetoe. So that was cool.
