As you all know the CrossFit Games are this weekend and our own Jeremy Fisher will be competing for top CrossFitter. Jeremy is a phenomenal example of what consistency, intensity, sound nutrition and a positive mentality can have on performance.
In a show of solidarity we will be combining Saturday’s Group and Beginner classes and giving everyone the option of doing all three competition WODS within the 2.5-3 hour time frame. Regulation standards will be adhered to strictly and the scoring system will be the same as at the games. Although he’s across the country his South Brooklyn Crew will be with him in spirit suffering through these workouts and cheering him on. This one is for Jeremy, guys.
Any words of encouragement for Jeremy at the games?

This would be awesome. I hope I can do the whole thing, I’ll see if I can move stuff around on Saturday to get enough time!

Jeremy is an integral and Irreplaceable part of our community. It’s a pleasure to have him train with us and an honor that he’ll be representing CrossFit South Brooklyn at the Games. He’s gonna smoke that DL/Burpee WOD.
Best of luck to Jacinto and Allison who will also be out there representing! Your SBK family will have you guys in mind all weekend. To quote a famous philosopher, “Train hard and have fun!”

Jeremy-
You are a standard that I ‘try’ to measure myself against. Best of luck at the games. Show those West Coast guys what Brooklyn is all about.

Great idea; this is going to be fun! Chest to the bar should be interesting on the pullups.
Best of luck to everyone out at the games.

Awesome
Go Jeremy! I’m looking forward to hearing all about it.
You know, I once tied him in a push-up ladder… once. Yep, true story.
Tomorrow sounds great. The deadlifts might be tough with my back, but I’ll try to manage. The run is out, my shins are fried. Still, it sounds like a hell of a workout, exactly what my mood needs to be knocked into submission.
Today:Bench70 lb dumbbells x 1080 lb dumbbells x 580 lb dumbbells x 470 lb dumbbells x 8
Incline115 x 12125 x 8125 x 8125 x 8
Push-up tabataTried maintaining 12, but on the 8th and final round, only managed 10.
Best of luck to everyone at the games. I’m sure you’re all going to do great, you’re amazing athletes and damn good people to know.

Aw shucks, you guys are gonna make me blush. I’m headed down to Gilroy now, spent my 4th hanging out with my brother and his family. I’m excited as all hell for tomorrow. Have fun with the WODs.
Erik – thank you for not doing dbl flies, that means alot.
Jeff says
Kick some ass out there, Jeremy!

Just finished the DL&Burpees workout from the main site (10:50 min). That thing looks sweater than it actually is, at least for me.
Good luck to the two incredible J’s from Brooklyn!
