26:30 (with 95 lb cleans)
I really liked that one, even though I think I had the slowest time, I was pleased with my form. I’ve always had a problem with cleans, but apart from a sore lower back, I felt pretty comfortable with them. Never done that many strict dips before and my double unders are showing some progress. All in all, a good work out.
After lunch:Bench press with 70lb dumbbellsFirst set: 10 repssets 2-4: 8 reps
Incline bench with 55 lb dumbbells4 sets / 10 reps
Flies with 40 lb dumbbells4 sets / 8 reps

12:07 what an interesting wod.did all 45 dips strict, 75 lb. cleans, and mostly i did single jumps but managed at least 15 or so doubles. way better than the usual whipping my legs and head!
after lunch wod – continue packing my house to move……ugh!

25:10, 75lb cleans and I counted some missed double unders at the end. those ring dips were really tough, but overall I felt pretty good about maintaining form.
I crashed and burned after the squat cleans. I definitely need to work on the double-unders. I have them pretty well with the rope in my gym, but they weren’t clicking today.

Didn’t have access to rings at Equinox so i subbed the Dips for Handstand Push-ups.
Warm-up:500m Row/10 pull-ups15 Minutes of technique focused power Snatches at 105lbs.
30:40 as rx’d (by me)All the doubles were fine, usually 2-4 singles then a double.135lb cleans were all solid but took a lot of gas out of me.HSPU’s were singles after 25 reps, most of my time was spent here i think.
You guys are all getting ready for the bar and i’m still at Equinox! Color me jealous.

Sad I’m missing drinks but man, that WOD + a second bike trip out to Park Slope today has wiped me completely out! Someone have a nice heffeweissen for me. ๐

Haven’t done a real workout since tuesday, but staying active.
Today – 15 minutes with foam rollers, 30 minutes swimming
I haven’t really been in the water for two years; it was nice to get in and remember what swimming is like. Slightly harder than I remember, BUT my turns felt awesome, probably because of my much improved core strength.
By the way, my good friend Lauren is swimming in the US Olympic trials next week. Cheer her if she makes it to the finals. I’m trying to get her out to CFSBK after the summer season.
And, in 24 hours I’ll be living in Brooklyn. Looking forward to finally making some group classes!
