yesterday’s workout was an easy 1k swim and then some major stretching. my quads have been really tight.
breakfast – eggs, BACON (then saw john’s pic – AMAZING!), black coffee, and some magic green drink of my very own…

Did 3x deadlifts last night:
185, 225, 245, 265, 275 (x2) 285 (x1). 285 was a PR, which I’m pretty psyched about since I set a goal of 300 two months ago when I just learned them. That seems to be, hopefully, a foregone conclusion now.

Hey guys…going to miss class tonight. Some behemoth stepped on my foot this morning on the train and I’m bruised & it’s a bit painful. Naturally it’s the foot i just had the stress fracture in. Was hoping to feel better by the end of the day but… I figure I should probably ice it down tonight…just my luck!
I am intrigued by this urbanathalon thing.Unfortunately I am stuck in Watertown on a stupid project for about a week so I’m crossfitting on my own for awhile. Have fun without me.

24:20the sprawls and squats slowed me down. Even when doing push-ups, it was the tightness in the upper thighs that was making it difficult. I’ve got to work on that.
The urbanathlon looks like fun in theory, but running 8.1 miles and I just don’t get along. I could blame it on the shins, but really, why even bother. I will, on the other hand, root for whoever does decide to give it a try.
Finally back from Colombia. Had to spend 12 hours in Miami International Airport due to delays and cancellations

Goodness it’s HOT out here.
Spent the day at a waterpark today and yesterday in Glassmans pool.
Going for a run in a little bit with Lisa. It’s not so bad running on trails. It’s so pretty that it distracts me from the heat and the discomfort of running.
Think we’re doing the total tonight but I want to do the OHS FS BS workout.
ZOneing HARD> everything I eat is being put in front of me. No cheating and no extra blocks. In fact Lauren dropped me from 11 to 10 blocks. I’m a little hungry but I’m adjusting
