There 6 mats left downstairs. Anyone who wants to come a little early to help bring them up would be appreciated greatly.

Zak, you should get .7-1 gram of protein for each pound of lean muscle mass. I dunno your weight, but I’m about 125 and I try to eat 80-90 grams of protein a day. There are 6 or 7 grams of protein in an egg.

If you don’t want to have 5 eggs, then have a couple of eggs with something else. Like bacon.

Actually, David, the chicken eggs we get at the supermarket aren’t fertilized.

Now, if you want some fertilized eggs, here is a description of a Vietnamese (and Filipino) delicacy, the fertilized Duck Egg:http://vietworldkitchen.typepad.com/blog/2008/01/half-hatched-du.html

And, Anthony Bourdain’s response to eating one:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXucin9iIaE

And, yes, I used to eat them when I was a kid before I realized what they were. Then one day, I got one that was a tad “mature”. Crunch, crunch. I never ate one again.

in my professional opinion an egg carries both 2oz weight and 2oz volume….. but getting down 5 eggs shouldn’t be much of a problem. i have heard that there is a formula for how much protine one should take in during a 24hour period if they are trying to either maintain weight or trying to gain weight…. are there any good calculators on the internets for this?

Oh yeah.. I was ordering my 2nd latte of the day at StarYucks when they brought out this huge tray of some kinds of cake with crumble stuff on top.

Normally I would take about 5 pieces. But I’m a changed women. I walked away.

Not eating cake is a bunch of BS.

Just did Cindy at the “Cardboard Box” Kinda like it. big garage door, no lights, no toilet – just weights and a pullup bar.

13 complete roundssubbed jumping pullups (damnit)worked on my snatch (heh)

Zak- lunch may have been a little protein heavy. You want to spread the wealth. 4-5 oz of protein at a time is probably good. and MORE VEGETABLES.

The calculator – .7-1 gram protein/pound of lean body weight. You need to find out your body fat percentage to be accurate, but you can sort of guesstimate based on your weight. And then you gotta eat fat. And not so many carbs.

Allison – the zone WILL help, I said give it time. Sheesh. You 23 year olds are so damned impatient.

That all being said: red velvet is the way to go. I make a good one.

That 330 was harder than it should have been, but I guess that’s to be expected. No more squats till monday, a glorious 3 day squat free weekend.

David please post something tomorrow so we don’t have to wade through 3+ pages of comments tomorrow.

I have a confession to make. I check the blog about 10 times a day. Something tells me that I am not the only one.

I got my Elite Rings in the mail yesterday. I ordered them on Wednesday. Talk about speedy delivery. I set them up in my gym and it people flocked to them like cats to paper bags.
