Fight Gone Bad is tomorrow! What you need to know:
Tomorrow is the big day! We’ve got over 100 people ready to go for our 18th annual Fight Gone Bad. At the time of this posting, we’ve raised over $22k which brings the lifetime fundraising of Fight Gone Bad to just over half a million dollars!!! These funds are needed now more than ever with SNAP benefits not going through in November.
The Fight Gone Bad Scoreboard has heat assignments, all fundraising and donation information, prizes as well as the live scoreboard.
Flow
Each team has a judging assignment as well as a competition assignment which can be found in the link above. Please be in 597 and ready 5-10 minutes prior to each of these. After your competition heat, you and your team will meet Aaron for your group picture on the sidewalk. Warm-Ups are DIY in 608. After the final heat at around 12:15 we will have an awards ceremony, an address from BCH&S and a group shot. Please be there for it!!!
Workout Logistics (important!)
Fight Gone Bad consists of 5 stations with everyone working (and resting) at the same time. Teams with more than 5 members will have 2 or 4 people who need to be performing the same movement at the same time. Ideally these are two people performing different versions of the workout. We will have plenty of wall balls, dumbbells, boxes and 2 ergs ready, but for the Shoulder to Overhead station there will only be one 95lb bar, one 65lb bar and one 45lb bar available per team. If this setup doesnât meet your teamâs needs, extra bumpers will be available nearby. Your team is responsible for adjusting and replacing weights as neededâeither before the workout starts or mid-workoutâso that everyone can perform their prescribed loads when they arrive to their station.
Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female Rx’d category performances. In order to be eligible you must perform the workout in your division as written below. For those not competing for a prize, you can perform any combination of these three options based on your abilities.
Men’s Rx:
Wall Ball: 20lb ball to 10′ Target
Alternating DB Snatch: 50lb DB
Box Jump Over: 24″ Box
Shoulder to Overhead: 95lbs
Row
Women’s Rx:
Wall Ball: 14lb ball to 9′ Target
Alternating DB Snatch: 35lb DB
Box Jump Over: 20″ Box
Shoulder to Overhead: 65lbs
Row
Additional 3rd Option:
Wall Ball: 10lb ball to 9′ Target
Alternating DB Snatch: 20lb DB
Box Step Overs: 20″ Box
Shoulder to Overhead: 45lbs
Row
Fundraising
We will also have prizes for top fundraising. We will be using the totals available at 12pm for the official final results so all submissions need to be in before then.
