Man, I've got callouses inside of my callouses.

And inside of those callouses?--more callouses.

And inside those callouses,is a tiny village of tiny, hard-working people, just like you and me- only smaller. They laugh and love just like you and me, and want the same things for their children that we want. Their mayor is a good, but complex man. He wants the best for his village and all the people that live there, but he knows it's an impossible task, and worse yet, the village faces an energy crisis like never seen before.

The mayor has a history, a woman that he'd rather not think about, and an early mistake in his career that he can not help but think about.

Every night he puts his hands together and prays for the strength to act in the best interest of his village; to act boldly and with confidence. But tonight he does not put his hands together to pray, not because he's lost his faith or because he no longer needs guidance. He does not put hands together because tonight they are completely covered with callouses.

Did the last set of pullups on the rings in an attempt to keep my left hand from ripping open.

My left shoulder is gonna be purple tomorrow morning, it already feels like someone punched me in the shoulder 75 times.

21:30 something ( i wish i wrote it down in my notebook damn it)

i used 30 lb dumbells, though on the dry erase board i realized i wrote down 25 for some reason. i had that after workout mental spaz thing. went to the AM class, i kinda like starting my day with a WOD. maybe i should drop out and become a crossfit bum. i also think my time would have been better if i did not have to stop and tape up my bleeding palms

The gym at the hotel pretty much sucks, but after searching hard I was able to find two barbells. If I can come back when its empty and pay $10 for the rental tennis shoes they have, I can get some real work in.

After that, 50 burpees for time in my hotel room: 3:31

Either my conditioning is off, or the altitude really hit me on that. I was sucking air by 15 and got a headache at 28.

yesterday I was sick like dogpain all over my joints no strength and a headache that throbfirst day that I miss my burpeesbut today I felt better and nocked off 150 burpees to keep upwith the challenge.bRING IT!!!!!!

My knee was killing me in the second set as I touched my DBs to the ground. Sitting back into my heels helped. Some really sloppy split cleans. Lots of short stepping. Hand ripped on my last set of pullups.

My shoulders are just find as a matter of fact they've gotten better with the burpees.Stephenie a few weeks ago I did a wod that had 150 pull ups in it and the next time that David is out town that will be the WOD for SB.

I have a feeling that Jacinto is not a fan of my affinity for shorter Metcons and lots of ME days. :)

Workout #22 Hours of Gymnastics.Today we did a lot of floor work which already is starting to feel a little more natural. I also learned that apparently i'm not flexible enough...Fritz wants to me to develop a routine on the foor, rings and either parallel bars or pummel horse.

I got my first taste of the PH today and it was HARDDDD.

Also, nuff respect to today's AM class. Especially Ashley who toughed the workout out despite feeling nauseous the entire time. I'm talking first round bent over about to meet Pukie. Incredible effort and a hell of an example of bucking up and getting it done no matter what. really inspiring.

adam, hurry back man. but have fun (as much as you can on a work trip) down there til then.

I had my first rip and I felt like a real member of the team, lol. My arms feel like bricks! Then to top that I went to Jacinto's today because I did'nt get enough from yesterday's wod (yeah I'm crazy). Jacinto u kicked my butt. Can't wait to see what u have in store for us tommorrow david.
