Welcome to CrossFit South Brooklyn! We have been teaching CrossFit and related physical culture since 2007 and are one of the largest, most well-equipped and professional training facilities in New York City. We pride ourselves on the quality of our coaching and hope you come to see why so many people choose CFSBK. Free Intro Class!
Interested in CFSBK but want to check out a class first? RSVP to our free weekly intro class, Sundays at 2:15pm.
These classes are a great way to sample our programming style, training environment, and coaching staff. A typical class will start with a group introduction, and include a comprehensive warm-up and then a Workout Of the Day scaled for your abilities. Afterwards, we'll have a chance to discuss how CFSBK works and address any questions you might have.
At CrossFit South Brooklyn, we've created an inclusive team atmosphere that makes training more fun and helps push each member to reach their full potential. These daily classes are led by one of our coaches and follow the posted workout of the day. Each class includes lots of instruction and hands on attention to ensure everyone is moving well and getting the most out of every class.
Note: Specialty classes like Yoga for Athletes, Pilates, Active Recovery, AntiGravity, and open gym are available to you as part of your CrossFit Group Class membership.
Experienced CrossFitters, Olympic lifters, powerlifters, and the hybrids in-between are welcome to come use CFSBK's facilities and equipment to do their own programming outside of our instructed classes. We are one of the few CrossFit facilities in the New York City area to offer this membership option!
One-on-one sessions are designed to address your specific needs. Your coach will create a plan and work with you to achieve your goals in a fun and encouraging environment. Small group training is also available.
Our CrossFit youth programs emphasize physical fitness through games and activities. Most importantly, we’re all about having FUN! Developing a positive association between fitness, physical activity, and the joy of movement is the primary goal of our program. Think of it like the gym class you wish you had growing up!
We all want to get stronger. That's because we implicitly understand that building strength is the foundation for increasing overall physical capacity. Our Strength Intensive takes you through an 8-week lifting cycle that has been proven to increase your ability to move large loads.
The Next Level Weightlifting Club offers Olympic lifting with strength training and mobility all in one. There are three classes each week, and you can join whenever you wish.
Reprogram your body with our newest class, Short Circuit! This hour long class utilizes some of the best training methods to give you a great total body workout in just one hour. Each class includes two circuits programmed specifically to help you shed pounds while increasing your strength, stamina, and flexibility. Short circuit classes do not utilize barbells or higher level gymnastics movents and Foundations is not required for this program
Want to be more flexible? Move better? Perform better? Just feel better? Have you been "kinda stretching sometimes, sorta," but making little, if any, progress? Our weekly active recovery class is a great place to spend an hour performing both soft tissue work and intelligent mobility training. This class is open to non-members.
If your Kip Krap? Are you Muscle-Ups more like muscle-downs? This class will focus on the gymnastics skill and strength components that are most commonly demanded in CrossFit workouts. Using a variety of skill exercises, progressions, weighted and strict practice, and other techniques to teach we will develop and perfect your bodyweight movements. Our goal is to improve not only skill, but gymnastic work capacity and muscular endurance.
Yoga for AthletesIf you're looking to increase range-of-motion and flexibility, discover some take-home techniques to help you recover, and de-stress your body and mind, Yoga for Athletes is for you. Designed and taught with the CrossFitter in mind, these classes will make the fundamentals of yoga accessible to all.

Fueling your body is a big part of the equation when it comes to good health and fitness. Eating well is essential to becoming a better athlete, and is a powerful (and tasty) way to reverse or prevent a variety of illnesses and body composition issues. Talk to one of our coaches about developing an personalized nutrition strategy.
Fit 55+ is a strength and conditioning class for older adults who want to move and use their bodies and are not content to simply sit on the couch getting older. Strength training and conditioning can help both stave off, as well as reduce, the effects of many chronic diseases. As the old adage goes: “If you don’t move it, you lose it.”
Join us for Strong Fit, a strength program that includes lifting heavy things often. Strong Fit will stimulate different energy systems/intensities, and include objects not normally seen in group class: the yoke, axle, sandbags, handles, ropes, and sleds. Full body functional movements performed at high intensity that will compliment your training and get you stronger. This is fitness in its rawest form.
