3, Establish a Standard Operating Process for how new events are screened / planned / executed
4. Develop a 2015 Events calendar - identify dependencies and key dates

I recently hired an accountant, who is the partner of my good friend. She's wonderful and currently open to taking on new clients. She's not yet certified as a CPA, which she asked me to mention to anyone I referred to her, but she answered all of my questions in ways that finally make things clear to me that I've been confused about for a while. I highly recommend her, and know her to be very responsible and thorough... and she just freaking loves accounting and numbers.

She goes by Dee and her email is diane.dee.ewen [at] Just mention that Kate sent you (and feel free to reach out to me if you have any other questions before emailing her, katharine [at] Rates will vary according to scope.

Kind of a niche post, but over the last year my company has been developing a web-based documentation system that is secure/flexible/simple and we're getting ready for a real launch. It's called DOCD.IO and while the first templates are targeted towards infrastructure management (your office locations, networks, servers, switches, routers, web services, passwords, etc.) it is a fully customizable relational database that has been configured and tested for property management documentation, film rights management, and restaurant group information sharing.

If you work for a business that has any documentation needs (or you currently keep all your passwords in an Excel file marked "passwords" and don't want to become the next Sony Pictures) feel free to drop me an email at We're looking to get people on the beta for free to give us feedback and help guide the next few development iterations. Thanks for looking!

Hi Guys!
I have recently parted ways with the company I was working for, due to it not being a good long term fit. I am searching for a new job. Here are some things about me: 1) I graduated from Columbia in 2014 with a degree in Political Science and Sustainable Development (or as I like to call it (benevolent econ) 2) for the past year, I have worked at a start up consulting firm in the energy industry. 3) I am looking for a job in policy, research, tech, government, law, business etc. with the idea of going to law school in a couple years.
If you have any questions for me, please feel free to email me at or comment here. I am also happy to widely disseminate my resume to any and all willing to look at it.
Additionally, I will be available starting Monday, June 22 for odd jobs. Here are some things I am good at: 1) organizing things, 2) typing, 3) making sure your children remain alive, well fed, and happy aka babysitting, 4) walking dogs/turtles/cats/birds/lizards, 5) Powerpoint/excel. I also speak a small amount of both Hindi and Chinese, in case you would like to learn some basic survival phrases.
In all seriousness, I have 2 years teaching experience, am great with kids and am an excellent tutor!
