AntiGravity: CrossFit Gymnastics and Body Weight Class

Is your kip krap? Are you muscle-ups more like muscle downs? Are your pistols mere pop guns? Check out coach Arturo's Anti-Gravity class: an hour-long gymnastics strength, skill, and conditioning class.

The class will focus on the gymnastics skill and strength components that are most commonly demanded in CrossFit workouts, using a variety of skill exercises, progressions, weighted and strict practice, and other techniques to teach, develop, and perfect your bodyweight movements. Our goal is to improve not only skill, but gymnastic work capacity and muscular endurance. 


Tuesdays at 7:30pm
Sundays at 2:00pm


Contract members may use AG as one of their weekly classes.  Otherwise there is a $25 drop in rate. This class is open to all CFSBK members as well as CrossFitters from other affiliates.

What happens in a class?

Each class will consist of skill work, strength development, conditioning, and flexibility training. Every class will include dedicated strength work and a WOD, so its intention is to be a complete workout of the day on its own. If a member chooses to do a CrossFit Group Class and AntiGravity in the same day, we recommend doing the CrossFit class first and then skipping the metcon in AntiGravity. The coaches can advise on this on a case by case basis, just ask!

Kipping and Strict Pull-Ups
Kipping and Strict Toes to Bars
Kipping and Strict Handstand Push-Ups
Static Handstands
Rope Climbing
Double Unders
L-Sits and other static holds
Air Squats, Push-Ups, Sit-Ups, Ring Rows
